Role Description
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the Project Manager in coordinating and executing lighting projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination:
Assist in planning, scheduling, and managing lighting projects, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met. - Client Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any questions or concerns. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports. - Supplier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers to coordinate the timely delivery of lighting materials and products. - Logistics Management:
Oversee the logistics and inventory for project deliveries, including tracking shipments, organizing storage, and managing on-site inventory. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure all products and installations meet the company's quality standards and project specifications. - Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to the project management team as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and tracking expenses.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field is preferred. - Experience:
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably within the lighting, construction, or design industry. - Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. - Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to clients and team members.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in the building materials industry
- Familiarity with lighting industry standards and products
- Experience in managing B2B projects end to end
- Basic knowledge of CAD or lighting design software is a plus
- Experience in budget management and financial tracking
