Role & responsibilities

1-Working Knowledge of Gem Portal - Bidding , Clarification, Preparing Documents, Coordination with client

Key responsibilities

  • Tender preparation: Prepare technical and commercial proposals for cooling tower tenders, ensuring all specifications and requirements are met.
  • Technical expertise: Possess a strong understanding of cooling tower systems, including their design, components, and functionality, especially in the context of applications like HVAC systems for large commercial buildings or industrial heat dissipation in places like power plants and refineries.
  • Commercial acumen: Understand and manage the commercial aspects of a bid, including cost estimation, pricing, and contract terms.
  • Project management: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, sales, procurement) to gather necessary information for the bid and manage the tender submission process.
  • Bid analysis: Analyze tender documents and client requirements to determine the scope of work and feasibility.

  • Customer interaction: Communicate with potential clients to clarify requirements and provide technical support during the bidding process.

  • Education: Typically a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: Experience in tendering, proposals, or engineering roles is crucial. Experience in the HVAC or industrial sector is a plus.
