About The Role
We are looking for a smart, driven, and high-ownership professional to join our logistics team as Assistant Manager – Logistics Strategy & Projects. This role is designed to bring structure, project execution, tracking, and cross-functional coordination to strengthen the logistics function.

You will work closely with the AVP – Logistics and gain exposure to e-commerce logistics operations, project management, stakeholder alignment, and process improvement. This is a high-visibility role that combines project ownership with strategic execution.

Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Coordination

  • Drive logistics projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Track daily and weekly logistics projects (shipping, warehousing, 3PL coordination, compliance).
  • Maintain dashboards and trackers for milestones, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Ensure faster pace of execution by driving accountability across stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sourcing, production, finance, commercial, and tech teams to close operational gaps.
  • Support leadership in ensuring smooth handshakes between departments.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, escalate risks, and resolve issues proactively.

Process Improvement & Strategy

  • Identify recurring issues in logistics operations and propose improvements.
  • Lead cost optimization, efficiency enhancement, and turnaround time reduction initiatives.
  • Contribute to long-term logistics strategy and scalability projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project Delivery: % of projects delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Process Efficiency: Reduction in average turnaround time (TAT) for logistics processes.
  • Cost Optimization: % savings achieved through process and vendor improvements.
  • Team Productivity: Achievement of project milestones by internal and external teams.
  • Data Accuracy & Reporting: Timeliness and accuracy of MIS and dashboards.
  • Risk Management: Number of escalations resolved proactively vs. delayed.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Supply Chain / Operations. MBA or diploma in logistics is a plus.
  • 4+ years of experience in logistics with hands-on exposure to e-commerce project management and coordination.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and exposure to project management tools (Zoho, Asana, Jira, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and follow-up skills.
  • High ownership mindset: proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
