Job Title: Area Manager

Job Summary:

We're looking for an experienced Area Ops Manager to oversee our hostel operations. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, driving revenue growth, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. If you're passionate about hospitality and have a proven track record of success in operations management, we'd love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of assigned hostels, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction.

  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of hostel managers, front desk staff, and housekeeping teams to achieve operational excellence.

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, including room occupancy, average daily rate (ADR).

  • Guest Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through effective issue resolution, feedback collection, and service standards implementation.

  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage operational budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including property owners, vendors, and suppliers.

Travel Requirements:

  • Regular travel to various properties within the assigned region, staying overnight at properties as required.

  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities while traveling.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality operations management, preferably in hostels or similar accommodation types.

  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth, improving guest satisfaction, and managing high-performing teams.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to motivate and develop teams.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure high standards of quality and compliance.
