**Position: Project Civil Engineer

Location: Across 3 Sites in Karnataka

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role:

The Project Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing end-to-end civil construction activities across three project locations in Karnataka. The role includes planning, hiring the required resources, supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, safety monitoring, and ensuring timely completion of all project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning & Execution

  2. Develop site execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation for all three sites.

  3. Ensure work is executed as per drawings, specifications, and project timelines.

  4. Prepare daily/weekly execution plans and monitor progress.

  5. Site Supervision & Coordination

  6. Oversee daily construction activities across the assigned sites.

  7. Hire and Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.

  8. Ensure proper deployment of manpower, machinery, and materials.

  9. Quality Control & Compliance

  10. Implement quality standards for materials and workmanship at all sites.

  11. Conduct regular inspections and maintain QC documentation.

  12. Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and client requirements.

  13. Material Management

  14. Prepare material estimates, GFC requirements, and inventory tracking.

  15. Raise material requisitions and ensure timely supply to sites.

  16. Verify material quality and maintain consumption records.

  17. Drawings & Documentation

  18. Study and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and construction details.

  19. Maintain site reports: DPR, WPR, material reports, labour reports.

  20. Report deviations, RFI submissions, and maintain site documentation.

  21. Coordination With Stakeholders

  22. Liaise with consultants, architects, clients, and management for smooth workflow.

  23. Attend project review meetings and provide progress updates.

  24. Coordinate approval processes and resolve site-related challenges.

  25. Safety & Compliance

  26. Ensure safety protocols and PPE usage at all sites.

  27. Identify hazards and enforce corrective measures.

  28. Maintain site safety records and incident reporting.

  29. Cost & Time Control

  30. Monitor and control project costs, wastage, and productivity.

  31. Support billing team with measurements, RA bills, and verification.

  32. Ensure timely completion of milestones within budget.

  33. Multi-Site Management

  34. Travel between project sites as per requirement.

  35. Prioritize tasks across multiple locations and ensure smooth workflow.
  36. Oversee site engineers/supervisors (if assigned).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B.E / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of experience in site execution (residential/commercial/industrial).
  • Strong knowledge of civil construction, structural works, finishing works.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools.
  • Ability to handle multi-site operations independently.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and team coordination skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Karnataka.
