About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Engineering Head to lead backend, middleware, and AI/ML initiatives for our next-generation HRTech platform in collaboration with Digitide. This leadership role will drive architecture, innovation, and execution, while building a high-performance engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering across backend, middleware, and AI/ML initiatives.
  • Define and enforce architecture standards, coding practices, and governance.
  • Drive HRTech platform modernization, AI/ML integration, and GenAI-powered features.
  • Oversee system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Mentor senior engineers and foster a strong engineering culture.
  • Ensure robust DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native practices (Azure).
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (microservices, event-driven systems, GenAI).
  • Manage vendor engagement and technology partnerships.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years in software engineering, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise in backend & middleware (.NET Core, Java, , APIs, microservices).
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML and GenAI projects.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure cloud, Kubernetes, containerized deployments.
  • Proven ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent architecture, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
