OHE Billing Officer (Overhead Electrification)

Specifically suited for companies working in Railway Electrification, Metro Projects, or Infrastructure (EPC) sectors in India.

Job Title: OHE Billing Officer (Overhead Electrification)

Department: OHE Electrical

Reports To: OHE Billing Officer

Location: [Nehru Place, Delhi]

Job Summary:

The Purchase Officer – OHE Electrical is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring all materials, components, and equipment related to Railway/Metro Overhead Electrification (OHE) projects. The role involves coordinating with project, engineering, and vendor teams to ensure timely availability of quality materials as per RDSO/railway standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To handle billing, documentation, and financial tracking related to OHE installation, maintenance, and material usage. Preparation of Materials Received Certificate (MRC).
  • Inspection of Material jointly with concern SSE.
  • Preparation of Delivery Challan for filling of Supply MB.
  • Varication of MB on IR-WCMS & acceptance of MB.
  • Preparation of ON A/c (Running) bill.
  • Verification of Bill on IR WCMS. Billing Officer would manage invoices, payments, and financial records for that unit.
  • To get prepared E invoice from Accounts and same uploaded on IR WCMS Portal.
  • Follow up of Bill to concern department of payment.
  • Provide deduction details to Account for Accounting.
  • Preparation of Summary of DPR as per Schedule for Erection Bill.
  • To get DPR Summary verified from Concern SSE.
  • Preparation and approval of Variation.
  • Reconciliation of Materials for Final Bill.
  • Preparation of Final Bill and follow for payment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Sound knowledge of Railway OHE Billing materials, components, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Indian Railway Standards, RDSO, and RE specifications.
  • Strong negotiation & communication skills. Analytical thinking and strong follow-up ability.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or equivalent any Graduate.

Experience: Mandatory to have 4–5 years of experience in procurement related to Railway OHE / Electrification Projects.

Preferred Industry: Railway Electrification, Metro Projects, or EPC Contracting Firms.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: 50K to 55K per Month (As per industry standards.)
