own website and major marketplaces
like Amazon and Flipkart, offering products such as Foot Alignment Socks, Barefoot Socks, TENS Massagers, Winter Socks, Gloves and more.
We're in a phase of strong growth and are now looking for an
Operations Associate
who can bring structure, speed and reliability to our backend operations.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Operations Associate – E-Commerce
to own and streamline our end-to-end operations.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing
courier & shipping partners - Overseeing
warehouse, inventory & dispatch - Leading
telecalling and packing teams - Building
SOPs, MIS reports, and practical forecasting systems
This role is ideal for someone who is
hands-on, data-driven, and process-obsessed
, with the ability to turn chaos into
clean, repeatable systems
.
Key Responsibilities1. Courier & Shipping Partner Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all
courier/shipping partners
. - Resolve operational issues such as
delays, disputes, lost shipments, or RTO spikes
. Coordinate and negotiate with partners to improve
TAT, success rate, and cost efficiency
.Warehouse, Inventory & Order Management
Oversee
day-to-day warehouse operations
, including order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch.- Implement and monitor
SOPs
to optimise
time, accuracy, and manpower
. - Ensure proper
stock management
, GRN, binning, and regular stock audits. Work actively to reduce
RTO (Return to Origin)
and delivery failure rates.Inventory Planning & Forecasting (Practical, Sheet-Based)
Maintain
simple, data-backed forecasting sheets
based on:- Past 30/60/90 days' dispatch data
- Seasonality and trends
- Upcoming campaigns, sale events, and marketing pushes
- Flag
low-stock and fast-moving SKUs
in advance to avoid stock-outs. - Coordinate with
procurement/production
to ensure
30–60 days of healthy inventory
for key products. Help prevent both
stock-outs and overstocking
using practical, Excel/Sheets-based forecasting models.Team Leadership
Lead and manage a team of
telecallers and packing staff
.- Allocate workload and define
productivity benchmarks
and daily targets. - Conduct regular
training, performance reviews, and feedback sessions
. Build a culture of
ownership, discipline, and continuous improvement
.Reporting, Analytics & MIS
Create and maintain
daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
for:- Orders processed, shipped, delivered
- TAT (Turnaround Time)
- Courier performance, RTO %, exceptions
- Inventory status and forecast vs. actuals
- Use
advanced Excel/Google Sheets
to: - Build and manage dashboards
- Work with formulas like
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, filters, charts
, etc. Convert raw data into
clear insights and action points
for management.Process Improvement
Identify gaps in
current workflows, handoffs, and communication
across operations.- Standardise and document processes for
scale, consistency, and lower error rates
. - Continuously look for ways to
reduce manual work, delays, and operational friction
through better SOPs and tools.
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- 3+ years
in
e-commerce operations
, with proven experience in: - Warehouse operations
- Courier/logistics coordination
Team handling (telecalling + packing)
Skills:
- Strong understanding of
courier/logistics processes
and SLAs. - Advanced Excel/Google Sheets
skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, basic dashboards, etc.). - Experience with
inventory planning and practical forecasting
. Ability to
create, document, and implement SOPs
for people, time and workflow management.Leadership & Mindset:
- Prior experience leading
ground-level operations teams
. - Problem-solver
, detail-oriented and process-driven. - Comfortable working in a
fast-paced, high-volume e-commerce environment
