Role & responsibilities

To lead and manage 3000+ associates spread over across respective state, to ensure effective service delivery with pre agreed SLA s, handling emergency victims everyday by appropriate configuration of the assets people, processes, technology , partners and vendors --- to achieve the goals and Mission of Organization as directed by the Board and Director .

Culture Management

To create a Positive, High Performance work environment by setting right Direction, Aligning associates' efforts towards Org goals by constant dissemination of Org Vision Mission and Values. To create a "Best place to work for" work atmosphere. Ensure Integrity of operations, Transparency of working, Accountability for all actions involving public and private funding.

People Development

Define Roles and responsibilities for direct reports in line and support areas, set performance targets, measure outcomes of leaders consistent with Organization Goals. Create succession planning framework. Ensure overall Organizational Development by constantly engaging the highly diverse work force. Should be adept at preparing next gen leaders at every level of hierarchy. Identifying potential candidates and train them to grow within organisation.

Process Management

Define and document important organizational processes in line and support functions. Display the ability to re engineer processes to achieve faster and better outcomes at optimal costs to move the project cost effectively. Be the driver for organizational excellence by constantly refining processes and driving automation of established processes. All routine processes need to have appropriate metrics and measures with established accountabilities and ownerships.

Operations Management and Market development:

Should be high on execution Skills. Lead the Operational strategy to service maximum emergencies in state in line with established medical standards. effectively utilize the service of Line function which includes regional managers, district managers and operations and fleet executives spread all over the state. A 24 X 7 call center which handles calls result in emergency dispatches from field – manned by call center agents and doctors , team leads /managers /quality personnel. In addition, the support functions of HR, T&D, Marketing , Technology, Quality, Finance, Fleet, PPP, SCM need to be effectively and efficiently handled to achieve the organizational goals.

Brand Management

Own the EMRI GHS Brand in the state. Effectively manage the Press and other media for a positive brand image.

Effectively co opt other voluntary organizations and bodies, general public to further the cause of EMRI GHS and to build the Brand Image of the 108 Emergency Management services.

Partner relationships:

Effectively partner with Go state to ensure timely reporting of outcomes to appropriate authorities, leveraging existing programs of Health Department and provisions of MoU/Agreement, understand Govt priorities and execute the same within the agreed framework of given MoU/Agreement. EMRI GHS being a pioneer in PPP in social sector, the expectations of Government might keep changing and the State Head Operations is expected to display a high tolerance for ambiguity. Since the operations are spread all over the state, relationship management with all district administrations by periodic reviews is a crucial duty to be carried out.

Effectively partner with Health Care Delivery Systems in Public and Private sector in the state to maximize positive outcomes for patients using 108 service. To build good Brand Image for the service within Medical establishment.

Financial Management :

Is responsible for the annual budgetary planning for operational and capital expenditure and effective and efficient utilization of finances in line with approved budgets. Needs to observe highest standards of financial Integrity and periodically subject the system to audits from appropriate agencies, internal and external.

Business Expansion:

Conceptualization of new project proposals, liasioning with stake holders, including budgetary preparation, launching and stabilization of New projects.

Qualification: MBA (preferably from premium Business schools)

Expereince: 15+ years if experience in handling large projects.
