The SAP Functional Analyst – Plan to Produce (PTP) will lead business process mapping, requirements gathering, and functional design activities necessary to configure and optimize SAP Plan to Produce (PTP) business processes within SAP S/4HANA. This role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end process efficiency, integration with other SAP modules (Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Record to Report), and alignment with business objectives.

The analyst will partner closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify operational, financial, and technological needs, lead testing and validation efforts, and drive continuous process improvements leveraging SAP ERP and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP Plan to Produce (PTP) business process reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting activities within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Provide application administration and support for PTP processes, including system interfaces and integrations.
  • Partner with business stakeholders and management to define requirements, design functional solutions, and support implementation of new initiatives.
  • Manage the application portfolio and associated SAP-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Conduct functional testing, validation, and defect resolution to confirm that system changes meet defined business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, templates, and standard operating procedures for SAP-related activities.
  • Balance project constraints such as scope, quality, schedule, budget, and resources to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Support integration and collaboration across related functional areas such as Order to Cash (OTC), Source to Pay (STP), and Record to Report (RTR).
  • Participate in training, change management, and user support activities to enhance system adoption and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives leveraging SAP ERP capabilities and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a functional analyst in SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems, specifically supporting Plan to Produce processes.
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations in ECC or S/4HANA, focusing on manufacturing and planning modules.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), Manufacturing, Forecasting, and Scheduling.
  • Knowledge of system configuration, business process design, controls, and master data management (MDM).
  • Experience in application testing, incident handling, and issue resolution procedures.
  • Familiarity with APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization) is a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong documentation and process improvement mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration or greenfield implementations.
  • Exposure to SAP IBP or advanced planning tools.
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial operations environments.
