Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled
SAP BASIS Consultant
to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining SAP landscapes, ensuring system performance, security, and reliability. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor and tune SAP systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Provide technical support for SAP systems, including infrastructure management, job scheduling, transport administration, and printer configuration.
  • Manage and maintain multiple SAP environments (Development, Test, Training, and Production).
  • Handle SAP ABAP and JAVA stack systems (mandatory skill).
  • Administer additional applications like
    BOBJ, BODS, Cloud Connector, Content Server, and OpenText
    (added advantage).
  • Configure and manage
    Web Dispatcher
    for load balancing and routing.
  • Perform
    SSL and SSO configurations
    , including certificate exchange, renewal, and trust setup between systems.
  • Manage the
    SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)
    to maintain system integrity and ensure smooth object promotions.
  • Execute technical changes in a structured, risk-minimized approach to achieve high reliability and availability.
  • Plan and implement
    SAP performance tuning strategies
    .
  • Monitor system health, including work processes, system logs, short dumps, locks, traces, and disk space.
  • Support
    application upgrades, client copies, and other maintenance activities
    to ensure system stability and compliance.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills to effectively handle client interactions and bridge calls.
  • Hands-on expertise with both
    ABAP and JAVA stacks
    .
  • Knowledge of SAP landscapes, system monitoring tools, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with
    SSL/SSO configurations and certificate management
    .
  • Exposure to application upgrades, client copies, and system refresh activities.
