Role Overview
The
Franchise Sales Executive (FSE)
will act as a
strategic business consultant
and trusted partner to MSM's franchise network. This role requires a driven, dynamic, and results-oriented professional who can balance strategy with execution to ensure franchise growth, compliance, and performance excellence.
As the FSE, you will lead efforts to
identify, develop, and support franchise partners
, ensuring they are equipped to drive student recruitment, meet business goals, and represent MSM's brand standards across their regions.
You will be on the frontlines — managing relationships, analyzing business performance, resolving challenges, and ensuring operational consistency across franchise partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Franchise Development & Expansion
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new franchise partners across assigned regions.
- Develop and implement expansion strategies aligned with company goals.
- Conduct due diligence and ensure all partners are aligned with MSM's operational and ethical standards.
- Lead franchise training sessions to ensure full understanding of business processes and expectations.
2. Business Growth & Performance Management
- Drive consistent month-on-month growth in student recruitment and revenue.
- Develop and monitor regional business plans, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Use performance data and insights to make informed recommendations for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, admissions) to support franchise success.
3. Operational Excellence & Compliance
- Ensure all franchise operations comply with MSM's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support franchisees in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Identify and address gaps in processes, training, or communication.
4. Relationship & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all franchise partners within your territory.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term business relationships.
- Serve as a mediator for franchise conflicts, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Represent MSM at education expos, events, and stakeholder meetings to enhance brand visibility.
5. Market Insights & Strategic Input
- Stay up to date with education, edtech, and study-abroad market trends.
- Analyze competition, local market dynamics, and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with leadership to design data-driven, actionable business strategies.
6. Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide franchise staff to ensure alignment with MSM's culture and goals.
- Foster collaboration between central operations and regional execution teams.
- Uphold a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability across your assigned region.
7. Travel & Field Operations
- Travel extensively (approximately 3 weeks per month) to monitor, audit, and support franchisees.
- Attend local and regional events to represent MSM and strengthen brand presence.
Qualifications & Skills
- MBA/PGDM preferred
with at least
5+ years of experience
in sales, business development, or franchise management (minimum
3+ years in managing franchise networks
). - Strong background in
education, edtech, telecom, or retail
industries. - Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- High level of business acumen with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in managing multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities.
- Agility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to
travel extensively
and work independently.
