We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer for a 6-month (extendable) contractual project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Calypso application development, customization, and integration, with a solid understanding of capital markets, derivatives, and trade lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Calypso modules and interfaces as per business requirements.
  • Work on Calypso configuration, workflows, and integration with upstream/downstream systems.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable solutions.
  • Develop and optimize Java-based extensions, APIs, and tools within the Calypso framework.
  • Ensure proper testing, debugging, and deployment of code changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Calypso infrastructure and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience: 2+ years in Calypso development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Calypso platform (v14 or above).
  • Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, SQL, XML, UNIX scripting.
  • Good understanding of trade lifecycle, settlement, risk, and financial instruments.
  • Experience in Calypso API, Data Dictionaries, Scheduled Tasks, Messaging Services, and Integration frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
