Calypso Tester

We are looking for an experienced Calypso Tester for a 6-month (extendable) contractual assignment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Calypso testing, trade lifecycle validation, and integration testing within capital markets or investment banking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of the Calypso platform.
• Validate end-to-end trade lifecycle flows including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and risk modules.
• Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Conduct API and interface testing for upstream and downstream systems integrated with Calypso.
• Identify, log, and track defects through their resolution; coordinate with developers and business analysts.
• Participate in UAT support, ensuring quality and stability of Calypso deliverables.
• Work closely with QA leads, developers, and business users to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality assurance.
• Prepare detailed test documentation, reports, and metrics for project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 5+ years in Calypso testing.
• Strong understanding of Calypso architecture, modules, and trade lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing within Calypso.
• Familiarity with financial products such as derivatives, FX, fixed income, and securities.
• Experience with SQL, UNIX commands, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
• Understanding of Calypso workflows, messaging services, and interfaces is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
