We at Yusen Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. are hiring for Sales Executive role for Goa location.

Role & responsibilities :

Client Acquisition & Business Development:

  • Identify and target potential customers across various industries.
  • Develop new business opportunities in air freight, sea freight, road transport, and warehousing.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and quotations based on customer requirements.

Account Management :

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customer queries, concerns, and service improvement plans.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.

Sales Strategy & Market Research:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Develop sales strategies and action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and pricing structures.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with operations, customer service, and pricing teams to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with product managers to design customized logistics solutions.

Reporting & CRM :

  • Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of proven sales experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry
  • Hands-on experience with all four logistics products
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
