As we grow rapidly, we are looking for a Trainer / Training Content Creator who can support our internal capacity-building efforts across departments, ensuring that our team is well-equipped with technical knowledge and professional skills.

Role Overview:

The Trainer / Training Content Creator will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-impact training programs tailored to the unique needs of AIQ's multidisciplinary teams. The scope includes onboarding modules, functional upskilling, and leadership development across both technical and non-technical roles.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Design & Delivery:

  • Develop comprehensive training roadmaps aligned with team goals and company strategy.
  • Conduct skill-gap analysis and create tailored learning interventions.
  • Design and deliver live virtual/in-person training sessions on topics such as:
  • Technical:
    GIS tools, Python, QGIS, remote sensing, AI/ML basics, version control, platform walkthroughs, product development lifecycle, etc.
  • Non-Technical:
    Business communication, time management, team collaboration, problem-solving, leadership, workplace conduct, etc.
  • Onboard new employees through structured induction training.

Content Development:

  • Create engaging multimedia learning content (slide decks, documentation, recorded video tutorials, interactive assessments).
  • Maintain a digital knowledge library for internal use.
  • Localize or customize open-source training content to suit internal workflows and tools.

Evaluation & Reporting:

  • Design pre and post-assessments to evaluate learning impact.
  • Gather feedback and continuously iterate on training programs.
  • Maintain detailed training reports and dashboards for leadership review.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with HR, department heads, and tech leads to identify training needs.
  • Liaise with external trainers, certification providers, or guest lecturers when needed.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven 3-6 years of experience in technical training or instructional design, preferably in a startup or tech-enabled company.
  • Hands-on knowledge in at least one of the following domains: GIS, geospatial tools, data science, product development, or business skills training.
  • Core expertise in training content creation and delivery, with multi-specialty knowledge and proven leadership experience.
  • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication and content writing abilities.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Canva, Notion, Google Suite, and learning platforms (e.g., Moodle, TalentLMS) is preferred.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics and create learner-centric modules.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with space-tech or geospatial intelligence.
  • Prior experience in building training programs from scratch.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles or a certification in instructional design.
