The Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of automation solutions across multiple business functions. This role involves end-to-end ownership of process automation using Microsoft Power Automate and cloud technologies, with a focus on continuous improvement, stakeholder collaboration, and scalable delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively as a key team player in a cohesive, supportive environment.
• Take full ownership of your role, consistently aiming to exceed client expectations.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for automated and semi-automated workflows.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain automation solutions using Power Automate, RPA bots, and low-code/no-code platforms.
• Analyze existing automation processes to identify inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business challenges and propose AI-driven automation opportunities.
• Build custom automation utilities using Python, VBA as needed.
• Promote and implement best practices in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), platform governance, and cloud-native solution development.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to company policies, security standards, and compliance requirements.
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers by providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting and resolving issues in live environments with agility and accountability.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the Microsoft Power Automate.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 4+ years of extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop flows), and additional experience with other RPA tools such as UiPath and Blue Prism is a strong plus.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, with the ability to build automation utilities, data processing scripts, or integrate APIs, is highly desirable.
• Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Good understanding of cloud-native application development, including security, scalability, and governance.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams, managing agile delivery, and ensuring solution reliability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Certification such as Microsoft Power Platform (PL-900/ PL-200/ PL-500).
• Certification in cloud platforms like Azure, or AWS.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure AI Services, Large Language Models (LLMs), and other AI driven automation technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment strategies.
