We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Software Engineering.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end‑to‑end application architecture (frontend, backend, APIs, data, AI integrations).
  • Define and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and reusable patterns.
  • Guide modernization of legacy PHP components into service‑oriented Python / / API-based solutions.
  • Design and govern REST/GraphQL APIs (versioning, security, performance, documentation).
  • Lead Angular and service architecture (module boundaries, state management, performance, shared libraries).
  • Drive data and feature engineering for AI/GenAI use cases (feature extraction pipelines, embedding strategies, data quality governance).
  • Integrate and prototype AI / GenAI (LLM-based agents, RAG pipelines, prompt and safety guardrails).
  • Establish non-functional requirements (scalability, observability, security, resilience) and enforce them via CI/CD quality gates.
  • Implement data lifecycle patterns (schema evolution, caching tiers, event streams) supporting both application logic and ML features.
  • Mentor engineers through design reviews, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and technical coaching.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Application / Solution Architect across web, services, and data layers.
  • Strong hands-on skills in Python (FastAPI / Django), (Express / NestJS), and Angular (RxJS, modular architecture).
  • Working knowledge of PHP (migration/refactoring strategies) and modern API design (OpenAPI, GraphQL).
  • Experience in feature engineering for ML/AI (data sourcing, transformation, embedding/vector stores, model input pipelines).
  • Deep understanding of architectural patterns (DDD, microservices vs modular monolith, event-driven, caching).
  • Security expertise (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT best practices, OWASP mitigation, secrets management).
  • Observability tooling proficiency (Prometheus, Grafana, structured logging, tracing/OpenTelemetry).
  • Practical experience integrating AI/GenAI (LLM APIs, prompt design, retrieval augmentation, guardrails).
  • Knowledge of data platforms (PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Elastic/Mongo) and how they support features & models.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and mentoring capabilities.
