Job Title: Director Software Development

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 12+ years in IT/Software Leadership

Reports To: VP / SVP of Engineering

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Software Development to lead our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of software leadership experience, strong expertise in open-source technologies, databases, cloud platforms (AWS), and client collaboration. This role demands a visionary leader to drive innovation, oversee architecture, and manage cross-functional teams for delivering scalable, high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple software development teams ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Oversee full SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Architect solutions using NodeJS, ReactJS, Java, .NET, and scalable SQL/NoSQL databases.

Manage AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability and security.

Collaborate with clients, product, and operations teams to align software with business goals.

Drive Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps best practices.

Mentor technical leaders and manage budgets, resources, and timelines.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

12+ years in software development with 5+ years in leadership roles.

Strong knowledge of NodeJS, ReactJS, Java, .NET, SQL & NoSQL databases.

Experience with UML, software design, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

Excellent client engagement, leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.

SaaS product development experience.

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and API design.
