Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with a proven track record in the furniture industry. This role will play a pivotal part in building and scaling Decorpot's new furniture vertical across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building a strong client base, and leading a team to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the new Furniture Division across multiple metro markets.
- Build and manage relationships with clients, architects, designers, dealers, and channel partners.
- Drive new client acquisition and expand market presence for Decorpot Furniture.
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to consistently achieve revenue and performance targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to position Decorpot Furniture competitively in the market.
- Monitor furniture market trends, competitor products, and pricing to identify new opportunities.
- Drive B2C and B2B sales, including retail, projects, and corporate accounts.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and service delivery throughout the sales cycle.
- Manage pricing, negotiations, and contract closures for profitable business growth.
- Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and forecasts to senior management.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Mandatory: Minimum 7 years of proven sales experience in the furniture industry.
- Strong understanding of furniture products, materials, designs, and customer preferences.
- Experience in scaling sales for a new vertical/brand/category will be an added advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Strong client network within the furniture industry (B2C and B2B).
- Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and sales management tools.
- Flexibility to travel across Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi NCR.
