The SolidWorks Designer (Oil & Gas Related Machines) is responsible for designing and drafting 3D models and detailed drawings of machinery and equipment used in the oil & gas industry. The role requires extensive knowledge of mechanical design, material selection, and manufacturing processes for equipment like pumps, compressors, drilling equipment, and pressure vessels.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Design 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for oil & gas machinery, such as drilling equipment, pumps, compressors, and pipeline components, using SolidWorks.
2. Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and detailed mechanical systems for fabrication and manufacturing.
3. Ensure designs meet safety standards, industry regulations (API, ASME), and client-specific requirements.
4. Create accurate technical drawings, including isometric views, sectional details, and exploded assembly views for oil & gas machines and components.
5. Prepare and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for assemblies, ensuring accuracy in parts, materials, and components.
Experience:
1. 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, specifically related to the oil & gas industry.
2. Extensive experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, assembly design, and drafting.
3. Familiarity with designing oil & gas-related equipment like pressure vessels, pumps, compressors, Pumping units, , etc.
