Key Responsibilities

· Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

· Design retail fixtures, display units, shopfittings, kiosks, signage, POP/POS elements, and store furniture.

· Develop fabrication drawings, assembly layouts, and BOMs for production.

· Visualize and render retail concepts to support client presentations.

· Modify existing retail designs based on shop floor or client requirements.

· Work closely with the production, installation, and project teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

· Ensure designs meet structural, material, and manufacturing standards.

· Maintain drawing documentation and ensure compliance with retail brand guidelines.

· Participate in design reviews and propose improvements for cost efficiency and manufacturability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, or related field.

· Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

· Proven experience in the retail industry (e.g., fixtures, interiors, display units, visual merchandising).

· Strong understanding of materials like wood, metal, acrylic, glass, sheet metal, and joinery.

· Ability to interpret sketches, specifications, and retail design guidelines.

· Knowledge of manufacturing processes: CNC, laser cutting, welding, carpentry, and assembly.

· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and design aesthetics.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working with PDM or project management tools

· Knowledge of 3D rendering/visualization tools

· Experience in store layout planning or interior design .

· Ability to work under fast deadlines in a retail project environment.

Location – Sector – 80, Noida
