We are looking for a passionate SDE 2 – Backend (Python) to join our engineering team and contribute to designing scalable backend systems that power Hexalog's technology platform.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python.


• Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps teams to build and enhance logistics technology solutions.


• Write efficient, reusable, and testable code ensuring high performance and responsiveness.


• Work on system design, architecture, and implementation for large-scale distributed systems.


• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability.


• Ensure security, data protection, and compliance in backend systems.


• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.


• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior engineers.


• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, tools, and standards.

Requirements


• 3–5 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Python (Django/FastAPI/Flask).


• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and system design principles.


• Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).


• Knowledge of asynchronous programming and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Celery).


• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and optimization skills.


• Good command of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• Prior experience in logistics-tech, SaaS platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.


• Familiarity with GraphQL and event-driven architecture.


• Understanding of DevOps practices and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
