Job Title: Production Executive Cum Carpentry Foreman

Experience: 8 – 9 Years

About the Role:

A Production Executive cum Carpentry Foreman's job typically involves supervising and coordinating a team of carpenters, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They are responsible for managing daily work schedules, assigning tasks, inspecting work, and ensuring regulations are followed.

1. Leadership and Supervision:

Supervise and lead a team of carpenters: Directing and guiding the work of carpenters on various projects, ensuring they understand and follow instructions and procedures.

Plan and organize daily work schedules and tasks: Develop daily work plans and assign tasks to the team, taking into account project priorities and timelines.

Ensure work is completed to the highest quality standards: Maintaining a high level of workmanship and quality control, ensuring that all work meets required specifications.

Train and mentor staff: Providing guidance and support to team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

Evaluate staff performance: Assessing the performance of team members and providing feedback and opportunities for improvement.

2. Project Management and Coordination:

Coordinate with project managers and other construction professionals: Working effectively with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution.

Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met: Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and taking corrective action to keep projects on schedule.

Manage materials and equipment: Ordering necessary materials and equipment, ensuring they are available when needed, and managing their use on the job site.

Review project plans and drawings: Interpreting blueprints and other drawings, understanding project requirements, and ensuring accurate execution

Make cost estimates of contract work: Providing cost estimates for carpentry work, helping to ensure projects stay within budget.

Other Responsibilities:

· Maintain records of operation: Keep accurate records of project work, materials used, and other relevant information.

· Monitor inventory and request supplies and equipment: Tracking inventory levels, ordering necessary supplies and equipment, and ensuring they are available when needed.

· Inspect work areas: Regularly inspect work areas to ensure they are clean, organized, and safe.

· Production Planning and Scheduling: Developing and implementing production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders, and managing workflow.

  • Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure products meet standards.
  • Cost Control: Monitoring and managing production costs to stay within budget.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Extensive experience as a carpenter, with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and procedures.

· Ability to effectively lead and supervise a team of carpenters, providing clear direction and guidance.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, meeting deadlines and staying organized.

· Ability to communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders.

· Ability to interpret drawings and other documents to understand project requirements.

· Understanding of relevant safety regulations and procedures, and ability to ensure a safe work environment.

· Lead and manage the entire production process, from raw material to finished product, utilizing machinery.

· Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process, upholding our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship
