Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced NPD Manager to lead the development of innovative food products and enhance existing product lines for the pet division. The role requires technical expertise in formulation, project management, cost optimization, and cross-functional coordination to bring competitive products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create prototypes and optimize processes to ensure high-quality product development.
  • Research, trial, and document new or revised product formulations.
  • Conduct shelf-life studies, sensory tests, and define product shelf life.
  • Perform competitive reviews to identify market opportunities.
  • Prepare cost analysis for new and existing products.
  • Coordinate with marketing and other stakeholders for product launches.
  • Source and investigate new ingredients or technologies for innovation.
  • Ensure project timelines are met and adjust plans as required.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Masters in Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in NPD, R&D, or Product Innovation, preferably in FMCG / Food / Pet products.
  • Strong technical formulation, analytical, and project management skills.
