The position

As an Operations Specialist - I at Novo Nordisk, you will be anchoring below responsibilities:

  • Handle ServiceNow tickets requests includes project configuration, onboarding to projects to Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Handle test related queries, Code/Pipeline related queries, Performance issues, Board & Dashboard queries.
  • Manage change requests to Azure DevOps and GitHub projects, oversee access management and license control.
  • Update documentation, conduct release activities, and provide 24/7 rotational on-call support for DevOps Platform operations.
  • Perform recurring year-end wheel maintenance tasks such as user access review, inactive user deactivation, monitoring system logs, cleaning up playground projects, and reviewing project configurations.
  • Conduct release activities, including creating change requests in ServiceNow, updating IT risk assessments, configuration specifications, user guides, and standard operating procedures (O&M SoP), as well as designing and executing test cases.
  • Work in rotational shift to cover EMEA time zone.
Qualifications
  • BSc or similar graduate degree in a relevant field (Software Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Business Administration).
  • Should have overall 8 years of experience with relevant 3 years experience in Azure DevOps (ADO) in supporting and managing the platform.
  • Good experience in change management, configuration management, and release management.
  • Good knowledge in GitHub Enterprise platform support activities.
  • Proven ability to manage GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code review, aligning its functionality with organizational needs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) extensions like Modern Requirements, @Scale, will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of working with SAFe Agile principles.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of ITIL.
  • Good experience in Stakeholders management and Vendor management.
  • Good communication.
About the department

The position is based in the Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure (C&CI) area, part of Global IT Operations (GITO) a department with 500 employees distributed across more than 25 countries, managing our Cloud Services, Infrastructure Services, Operations, IT Support, Major Incident Management, and Digital Workplace Services. The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure is an area consisting of 180 people in 10 product teams with highly skilled and dedicated employees. We have a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration, and we work in a truly global setup with colleagues located all over the world. In C&CI, we are globally responsible for all Novo Nordisk Cloud (Private and Public) and Corporate Infrastructure (Network and Connectivity) Services.
