Key responsibilities: as Site EHS Lead
- EHS compliance at plant.
- Maintain safe & pollution free environment within the plant.
- To build up the EHS Culture inside the plant by organizing EHS awareness programs.
- Implement EHS promotional activities at plant
- To make the workplace free from hazard and maintain the plant with acceptable risk.
- To establish EHS Global culture at site.
- Educate, train & motivate the employees and contractors to conduct their activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- To establish & sustain EHS Management system at plant.
- To comply EHS legal and other requirements applicable the site.
- To create and maintain green belt inside plant premises.
- To supervise all EHS related activities in plant.
- Ensuring safe working environment at the site.
- Implementation and sustaining of EHS Management System (ISO45001:2018 & ISO14001:2015) at site.
- Adherence to maintenance of loss prevention equipment as per site specific (Fire Hydrant system, Fire Alarm system, & PA system, Fire extinguishers, safety shower and eye wash, emergency lights)
- Preparation and implementation of emergency response procedure for the emergency prone scenarios applicable to site.
- Closure of action items under EHS responsibility.
- Conduct monthly EHS review meeting is conducted with Site Leadership team, Contractor Safety, emergency response team and Plant EHS committee meeting (as per regulatory requirement)
- Promoting Safe Behavioral Change by improving the awareness and capability of people
- To develop EHS CAPEX budget for the site and track them for complete.
