About the Role

We are looking for a Backend Development Intern with a passion for learning and building modern web applications. As a Python FastAPI & MongoDB Intern, you will work closely with our engineering team to develop APIs, manage databases, and contribute to real-world projects. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and maintaining APIs using FastAPI.

Work with MongoDB for data storage, schema design, and queries.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Learn and implement authentication & authorization (JWT/OAuth2).

Collaborate with team members on debugging and fixing issues.

Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Explore and implement asynchronous programming in Python.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of Python (basics of OOP, functions, modules).

Understanding of FastAPI (or willingness to learn quickly).

Basic knowledge of MongoDB (CRUD operations, indexing).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON.

Eagerness to learn async programming concepts.

Version control knowledge (Git/GitHub).

Nice to Have (Optional)

Experience with Docker or containerization.

Familiarity with Pytest or basic testing.

Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React/Vue) for integration purposes.

Understanding of deployment on cloud or VPS.
