Job Description:

As a Backend Developer Intern, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic of web applications. You will work closely with the frontend team to ensure smooth integration and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain server-side applications using technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, and Java.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the client and server.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN for code management.
  • Work with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for data storage solutions.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in back-end programming languages including C#, Java, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong experience with web development frameworks such as ASP.NET, MVC, or
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular is a plus.
  • Knowledge of database management systems including SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Experience with web services (SOAP/REST) and API development.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile practices.
  • Strong debugging skills and experience with unit testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure is advantageous.
  • Experience with multithreading concepts and microservices architecture is preferred.
