Job description

  • Transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes.
  • Should be aware of the latest revised Icd-10 codes, (international classification of diseases, 10th version).
  • Analyze patient charts carefully to know the diagnosis and represent every item with specific codes.
  • Ensure that codes tally with doctors' diagnoses. Be updated about new coding rules as codes change from time to time.
  • Collect and distribute coding-related information and billing issues.

Minimum Infrastructure required - Computer System, Broadband Internet Connectivity.

Employment Type -- Full Time, Permanent

 Education

  • UG :Any Graduate in Any Specialization
  • PG : Certified Professional Coder (CPC), American Academy of Medical Coders (AAPC) 

Required Candidate profile

  • Familiar with medical terminology & insurances i.e. HCPC/ICD-10 codes
  • Should have knowledge about ICD, CPT, and Insurance denials
  • Must have worked in Charge Entry Dept.
  • Excellent communication skills 

Experience-

  • Any graduate with a minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Medical Coder. 

Key Skills - Knowledge about ICD - 10 Coding guidelines and Insurance Denial Management Specialist, Computer proficiency & Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management, Typing speed 30 wpm.
