Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Plant Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biofuels, renewable energy, or related industrial sectors, with proven expertise in plant operations, production planning, process optimization, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end plant operations, ensuring smooth production processes and adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet business targets and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and control plant performance, machinery utilization, and resource allocation for optimum output.
  • Drive cost reduction, process improvement, and efficiency initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and environmental regulations (Pollution Control Board, Factory Act, etc.).
  • Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and sales teams for seamless operations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate plant staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on plant performance to management.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing plant operations, preferably in biofuels, renewable energy, or allied industries.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, plant maintenance, and quality systems.
  • Experience in handling statutory and industrial compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
