Role & responsibilities

  • Plant Operations Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day plant activities including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and supply chain.
  • Ensure production targets are met in line with cost, quality, and delivery parameters.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions for operational efficiency.
  • Cross Functional Team (CFT) Leadership:
  • Lead and coordinate CFTs (Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, EHS, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance).
  • Drive alignment across departments to meet business objectives.
  • Facilitate problem-solving, innovation, and continuous improvement through CFT initiatives.
  • People & Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop plant teams to enhance performance and build future leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure statutory compliance (labor laws, environmental, safety, and regulatory standards).
  • Drive EHS culture and zero-incident workplace initiatives.
  • Cost & Resource Optimization:
  • Monitor budgets, control operating costs, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Drive efficiency projects to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
  • Implement best practices (Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen) for continuous improvement.
  • Support management in long-term capacity planning, expansion, and automation projects.
