Role Summary:

The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining smooth workflow. The position requires strong leadership, culinary expertise, and the ability to supervise a dynamic kitchen team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Key Responsibilities:

1. Kitchen Operations:

2. Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing the daily kitchen operations.

3. Supervise food preparation to ensure consistency and quality of all menu items.

4. Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure minimal wastage.

5. Team Management:

6. Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional results.

7. Allocate tasks and monitor the performance of line cooks and kitchen staff.

8. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

9. Menu Development:

10. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, updates, and innovation.

11. Assist in testing and launching new dishes while ensuring cost control.

12. Cost Management:

13. Monitor food costs and portion controls.

14. Ensure efficient use of resources to meet budget requirements.

15. Quality Assurance:

16. Ensure all dishes meet Dave & Buster's standards in presentation and taste.

17. Regularly inspect kitchen equipment to ensure they are in optimal condition.

18. Health & Safety:

19. Adhere to and enforce health, safety, and cleanliness guidelines in the kitchen.

20. Conduct regular audits to ensure full compliance with local regulations.
