Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Location: Mumbai Experience

Required: Minimum 4–6 years in field sales

Role Summary:

The Area Sales Manager – School Sales (Mumbai) will be responsible for driving business growth, managing key school accounts, and leading a small sales team in the assigned region. The role involves planning and executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with school decision-makers to expand the company's presence across Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Sales Planning & Revenue Growth

● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned Mumbai region.

● Identify new business opportunities and expand the network of schools.

● Execute product promotions, campaigns, and on-ground marketing activities to increase brand visibility.

  1. Client Relationship Management

● Build and nurture long-term relationships with principals, coordinators, and school management.

● Conduct product presentations and demonstrations at schools.

● Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective follow-ups and service.

  1. Team Leadership

● Lead, motivate, and guide a small team of Sales Officers/Representatives.

● Assign sales targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching for skill enhancement.

● Ensure team adherence to reporting, follow-up, and sales processes.

  1. Market & Competitor Analysis

● Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.

● Share insights with management and suggest region-specific strategies.

● Identify potential areas for growth and improvement.

  1. Coordination & Reporting

● Coordinate with internal departments (operations, accounts, and logistics) for smooth order execution.

● Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular performance reports.

● Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and school events.

Candidate Requirements :

● Minimum 4–6 years of experience in school sales or educational product sales.

● At least 6 months–1 year of experience in team handling (preferred).

● Bachelor's degree (MBA in Marketing/Sales preferred).

● Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

● Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

● Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

● Willingness to travel extensively across Mumbai and nearby regions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
