Description of Position:

The Senior Analyst / Associate will work closely with all Investments team members assisting in analysis and underwriting including asset selection, deal negotiation, pro-forma modeling, deal presentations, due diligence and market research.

The Senior Analyst / Associate will gain firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of a hotel real estate private equity company and touch upon all aspects of hotel ownership in the entire asset cycle from acquisition through a property's ongoing asset management and disposition.

Primary Responsibilities:


•Assist in the development of detailed pro-forma models to analyze potential hotel investment opportunities


•Analyze fund and deal level returns, creating value-add scenarios and ROI analyses
•Support the due diligence process for potential transactions including analyzing competitive properties, reviewing market supply/demand fundamentals, analyzing f inancials, sales and revenue and various other reports


•Assist with hotel disposition, including evaluating potential disposition strategies and timeline, collecting diligence materials, and coordinating with buyer and broker


•Assist in the development and on-going management of a proprietary business intelligence platform source data by working directly with hotel brokers, operators and data providers to source accurate hotel performance and pricing data, create dynamic dashboards and reporting tools


•Maintain an internal company acquisitions pipeline report and CRM, monitoring all potential acquisitions and communication with brokers, lenders and equity partners


•Assist in creating and updating budgets for hotel development projects and property improvement plans


•Conduct market research to identify potential target markets for new hotel investments
•Collaborate with team members across multiple functions (Asset Management & Finance) related to transition of the acquired asset, business plan execution, ongoing investment reviews and ad hoc portfolio and company projects
