. Role & responsibilities

This position reports directly to the Manager-Testing and is based at Hyderabad, Telangana.

The Testing Engineer will be responsible for executing production-level testing of AC and DC fast chargers for electric vehicles, ensuring compliance with global charging standards (GB/T, CHAdeMO, CCS, Bharat AC/DC). The role demands strong technical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting skills, and strict adherence to quality and safety standards to deliver defect-free products.

  • Conduct routine functional and compliance testing of AC/DC EV chargers as per defined protocols.
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on test failures, working closely with design and production teams for resolution.
  • Execute pre-dispatch inspections and support customer validation/testing when required.
  • Maintain accurate test records, including test reports, data logs, and compliance checklists.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and throughput of testing.
  • Ensure proper calibration, usage, and upkeep of testing equipment and tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to establishing robust quality control at the testing stage.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide inputs for design feedback from testing outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation or allied fields.
  • 2-6 years of hands-on experience in product testing in EVSE, telecom, power electronics, or automotive electronics.

High Voltage testing, EV Charger, Battery Charger, PLC Control, AC Drives, DC Drives, Rectifier, Inverter will be fine. And Communication Protocols (Eg. Modbus TCP/IP, RS485, CAN, Ethernet/IP)

  • Familiarity with charging standards CCS, CHAdeMO, GB/T, Bharat.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in high-voltage testing environments.
