- Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and acquire new clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and sales targets.
- Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and insurance packages.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Assess clients' automobile insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Product and Market Expertise:
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of various automobile insurance policies, products, and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory changes.
- Recommend policy changes or new products to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Administrative and Operational Tasks:
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems and manage policy renewals.
- Process policy amendments and ensure adherence to company regulations.
- Facilitate the claims process and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience:Proven experience in insurance sales or a similar sales-oriented role.
- Education:A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is often required.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build rapport and work effectively with diverse clients.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Familiarity with insurance underwriting processes and procedures.
