We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Supervisor to oversee and ensure product quality at our vendor manufacturing facilities.

The main goal of the position

This role plays a critical part in maintaining supplier compliance, improving quality performance, and ensuring that our vendors deliver products that meet internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage quality assurance activities at third-party manufacturing/vendor sites.
  • Conduct regular on-site audits, inspections, and process reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor vendor performance using KPIs (e.g., PPM, delivery quality, audit scores) and initiate improvement plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Review and approve supplier PPAP, FAI, control plans, and other quality documentation.
  • Support supplier qualification and onboarding through audits and capability assessments.
  • Act as a liaison between internal Engineering/Manufacturing teams and supplier quality teams.
  • Train vendor personnel on quality standards, inspection criteria, and documentation requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ASTM or other applicable quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of vendor quality performance, NCRs, and improvement actions.
  • Participate in new product introduction (NPI) at vendor sites to ensure robust quality planning.
  • Preparing documentation for quality assurance

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field. Educational qualification can be relaxed for suitable experienced candidate.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a supplier quality or vendor oversight role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of quality tools and systems.
  • Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, ISO).
  • Experience in auditing and improving supplier manufacturing processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, documentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to vendor facilities (domestic/international).
  • CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • HSE certification
  • Willingness to travel frequently to supplier and vendor sites
