Company DescriptionThe Verdant Group part of the Kanoria Group is a mycology, horticulture and agriculture, science and knowledge driven enterprise. Starting small, we aim to be in the top 5 producers of tissue culture plants and mushrooms in India. We see several mushroom strains as superfoods andnwith strong medicinal values.

We see opportunities in fungi and plant basd extracts and whole super foods and wish to go downstream from growing mushrooms and plants to producing ingredients for the pharmaceutical and health care industry besides producing superfoods for consumers. Role DescriptionThis is a full time role for an Intrapreneur Superfoods, Nutrition, and Extracts at Verdant Group. An Intrapreneur demonstrates Entrepreneurship capabilities which is the process of starting and running a business, typically involving creating a new product or service and taking on the risks associated with it.

It involves identifying opportunities, developing a business plan, and managing the day-to-day operations of a company. Entrepreneurs are often seen as innovators who bring new ideas to the market, seeking to create value and generate profits. The role involves developing and implementing innovative superfoods and nutrition products, conducting market research, creating business plans, and introducing new product lines.

The Intrapreneur will be responsible for driving growth and profitability through strategic initiatives and collaborations within the organization. QualificationsProduct Development, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship skills

Business Planning and Strategy skills

Knowledge of Superfoods, Nutrition, and ExtractsProject Management and Leadership skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Experience in the food or health industry is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Business, or related field

Must have driven new business ideation and development in companies producing superfoods, neutraceuticals, extracts and ingredients.Must have demonstrated experience in starting new business from scratch and scaling it up

Strong capabilities in sourcing, nurturing talent and growing teams
