We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Document Specialist for Tenders to support our bid/tender management team. The candidate will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and related procurement documents, identifying key information, compliance requirements, and action points for the bid team.

Role & responsibilities

  • Read, analyze, and interpret tender documents from government bodies, PSUs, or private clients.
  • Extract critical information such as eligibility criteria, scope of work, submission guidelines, deadlines, and evaluation parameters.
  • Create summaries and checklists to guide bid preparation.
  • Flag inconsistencies, missing documents, or potential compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with the bid team to ensure all tender requirements are clearly understood and addressed.
  • Maintain a centralized record of all reviewed tenders and related communications.
  • Monitor tender portals and identify relevant opportunities, if required.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree from a reputed college/university.
  • 13 years of experience in tender/bid management or contract review (preferred).
  • Excellent reading comprehension and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand legal and technical documents.
  • Familiarity with tendering portals (e.g., Gem, CPPP, E-Tendering platforms) is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
  • Proactive and organized, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Knowledge of public procurement policies and procedures.
