Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled
Network Engineer
with strong proficiency in the
Japanese language (both written and verbal)
to join our team in
Bengaluru
. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and operations support, along with the ability to collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients or stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, firewalls, routers, switches).
  • Collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients or partners to gather requirements, provide support, and deliver technical solutions.
  • Handle escalations and provide Level 2/3 support for network-related incidents.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation in both English and Japanese.
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure timely issue resolution and project execution.
  • Perform regular network performance analysis and implement necessary improvements.
  • Support configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for network support and scheduled maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 6 years
    of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise-grade network equipment.
  • Proficiency in
    Japanese language
    – minimum
    JLPT N2
    certification (N1 preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese.
  • Experience working with Japanese clients or in a Japanese work environment is a plus.
  • Network certifications such as
    CCNA, CCNP
    are advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell) is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational or culturally diverse environment.
