Job Type: Contract (long-term)

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled L2 Network Engineer with strong expertise in cloud networking and enterprise network support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto (Prisma, Start Cloud Manager), Meraki, and Infoblox DNS, as well as solid fundamentals in routing, switching, and troubleshooting. This role requires close collaboration with global teams across Bangalore, Waterloo, and Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Palo Alto Prisma for WAN and firewall configurations.
  • Implement and support Meraki network infrastructure across the enterprise.
  • Support cloud-based servers in Azure, GCP, and AWS environments.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless network operations and DNS management.
  • Assist with workstation transitions post spin-off, including resolution of Microsoft-related issues.
  • Configure and maintain DNS entries (Infoblox) to ensure cloud access for developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to maintain uptime and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering with exposure to cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks technologies (Prisma, Start Cloud Manager), Meraki, and Infoblox.
  • Strong understanding of routing, switching, and Layer 2 configurations.
  • Experience supporting global operations across multiple time zones.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer), CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure, GCP, AWS).
  • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business needs.
