Role & responsibilities:

Facility Operations & Maintenance

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the company facilities, including power, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and ensure minimal downtime of critical infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.

Technical Infrastructure Support

  • Collaborate with the IT team to maintain server rooms, Network rooms, and related infrastructure.
  • Ensure proper cooling, power backup, and environmental controls for technical equipment.
  • Manage UPS, DG sets, fire suppression systems, and other mission-critical assets.

Vendor & Contract Management

  • Oversee facility-related contracts, including AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and SLAs.
  • Ensure vendors comply with company policies and safety standards.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to local building codes, fire safety, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and emergency preparedness drills.
  • Implement workplace safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in electrical / mechanical engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Certification in facility management (e.g., International Facility Management Association (IFMA) is an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile :

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in facility management, preferably in IT or technology-driven environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data centre operations and technical infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of managing vendors and technical projects.
  • Can start immediately OR in a month

Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and vendor negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, compliance requirements, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize operational costs.
