Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Safety Officer for a 1-year contractual assignment at our Mahape (Navi Mumbai) facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards, promote a safe working environment, and support daily safety operations. Candidates residing in Navi Mumbai or Mumbai will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor site safety protocols, ensuring adherence to statutory and company safety standards.
  • Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inspections, and audits across the site.
  • Identify potential risks and recommend preventive measures to ensure zero accidents.
  • Maintain and update safety records, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate safety drills, training sessions, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE, machinery safety, and emergency procedures.
  • Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and authorities for safety compliance.
  • Experience in Data Centre safety operations will be a strong advantage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering with Certified Safety Officer Qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH/Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer; Data Centre experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety standards, audits, risk assessments, and statutory norms.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to handle on-ground safety compliance efficiently.
