Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at our high-rise construction site in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in safety and at least one year of relevant experience in the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.
  • Maintain safety records and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure it is used correctly.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Safety or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in safety management, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards in India.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
