Position Overview
Boeing International Contracts for Government and Enterprise operations team is currently looking for a
Senior Manager - Contracts and Pricing to join our team in
New Delhi, India
.
The Senior Manager- Contracts and Pricing within Boeing Defense India serves as the entitys top Contracts representative, providing contractual strategic guidance to the organization and to the contracting team. The position serves as a key Boeing interface with Indias Defense leaders to shape, negotiate, capture and execute target programs. This position has responsibility for all aspects of Contracts and Pricing within Boeing Defense India and reports to the Director of Boeing Government and Enterprise International Contracts.
Position Responsibilities
- Provides Commercial Contracts management and guidance for multiple Boeing Defense Indian campaigns and organizations.
- Works with the Ministry of Defense and Service Level counterparts as well as other organizations/programs to achieve Boeings long-term goals in India.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Serves as a subject matter expert within Boeing Defense India on Indian Government Defense Procurement Procedures and the overall defense procurement process in India, including responsibility to help shape procurement policy and practice.
- Offers an advanced understanding of Indian defense contractual provisions, the ability to identify complex contractual and financial risks, to work independently, to recommend and participate in mitigation strategies and to actively support individual campaigns.
- Develops and executes integrated internal departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives.
- Supports all aspects of contract matters once under contract.
- Acquires resources for department activities, leads process improvements and lead a skilled team of subordinate representatives in support of these matters
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes in support of Contracts functional objectives.
- Manages, develop and motivates employees and first-level managers.
- Travel is a requirement for this job.

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor's degree or higher is required as BASIC Qualification with 16 years' of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Experience working with or for a US company, preferably defense, would be beneficial.
- Exhibits qualities promoting respect, collaboration, trust, accountability and curiosity in the work environment.
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 17 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+ 16 years' related work experience).
