Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and goal-driven Counselor Study Abroad to guide prospective students through the journey of selecting, applying, and enrolling in international higher education institutions. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of study destinations such as the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, and more, with strong interpersonal and conversion skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized counseling sessions to prospective students for study abroad options including the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, etc.

  • Educate students about eligibility criteria, program selection, admission processes, visa guidelines, and post-landing services.

  • Conduct counseling via virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) and in-person (if applicable).

  • Collaborate with the tele-calling, admissions, visa, and training teams to ensure seamless handover of leads and information.

  • Guide students on platform usage and ensure complete registration on MSM Unify.

  • Track, document, and manage leads, conversions, and registrations using internal CRM tools.

  • Meet or exceed assigned conversion KPIs (e.g., counseling-to-registration ratio).

  • Promote other MSM services through cross-selling or referrals.

  • Collect student feedback and work on continuous service improvement.

  • Handle student escalations professionally and coordinate resolutions with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in any field (Education, Psychology, or Counseling background preferred).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in overseas education counseling or a related EdTech role.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; additional regional language is an advantage.

  • Comfortable with digital platforms, CRM tools, and tech-based counseling.

  • Quick learner with a solution-oriented and data-driven approach.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple leads independently.

  • Willingness to work in a flexible or rotational shift setup.
