What will you be doing at Ather?
- Strategic Planning & Forecast: Roll out a monthly firm plan and a 3-months tentative forecast for all SKUs to the Central Planning team. Building a robust model based on consumption trends, Units In Operations(UIO)
- , service load, and spares per vehicle to provide accurate numbers, especially during seasonal and festive periods.
- Performance & Inventory Analysis: Calculate forecast accuracy by comparing actual consumption to the forecast. Responsible for declaring safety stock levels. Analyze offtake, retail, and inventory data at the warehouse and regional levels to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Supply Chain & Inventory management: Coordinate with Central Planning and Warehouse to maintain optimal stock levels through diligent inventory checks, and timely order placement.
- Ensure timely supply of parts to service centers by working closely with Central Planning, warehouse, logistics team, and other stakeholders
- Project & Parts Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of obsolete parts, including their forecast and safety stock, and oversee the RPDC and region-wise order split project. A key responsibility will be the rigorous planning, tracking and availability of Corrective Action For Field Vehicles(CAFV).
- Proactive & Agile Operations: Proactively prepare the Initial Dealer Kit (IDK) before the launch of new service centers and manage the timely dispatch of CAFV parts related to recall activities.
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate regular reports on order fulfillment, order processing, and other key performance metrics.
- Total Cost of Ownership(TCO): Active participation and ideas for the TCO reduction
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
What kind of experience & skills do you need for this role
8-12 years of experience working in automotive parts operations or retail sales.
Some attributes that you bring to this role?
- Comprehensive knowledge of Spare Parts Business (Planning & Forecast) ,Supply chain management and various inventory management methods.
- Hands-on Expertise: Hands-on experience in day to day parts operation environment, including expertise in stock checking.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong team and managerial skills for effectively handling warehouse, Team, Vendors and Souring Teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with stakeholders and prioritizing tasks.Systems
- Proficiency: Knowledge of working with any Dealer Management System (DMS) is necessary. Experience with SAP and JIRA will be an added advantage
What should you have graduated in?
Bachelor's degree in any stream is required. Hands-on experience in the day-to-day parts operation environment is a mandatory requirement for this role.
