Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure exceptional dining service.
  • Supervise wait staff, allocate tables, and coordinate service flow for smooth operations.
  • Liaise between the kitchen and service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Promote upselling by recommending dishes, beverages, and special offers to increase revenue.
  • Train and mentor new staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and customer handling.
  • Handle guest complaints with professionalism, resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a restaurant captain or in a supervisory service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused attitude.
  • In-depth knowledge of menu items, food pairing, and service etiquette.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and train a service team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and weekends and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Languages Preferred: (Tamil, English, Hindi)
