About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead C++ / Qt Developer to join our Pune team. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in C++ and Qt development, with proven expertise in the automotive domain. You will lead design and development initiatives, work closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions for automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of C++ and Qt-based applications for automotive systems.
  • Collaborate with product management, hardware teams, and QA to define technical requirements and system architecture.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
  • Optimize software performance, memory usage, and reliability for embedded systems.
  • Participate in requirement analysis, feasibility studies, and technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and functional safety (ISO 26262 preferred).
  • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution during development and post-deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 – 8 years of professional experience in C++ and Qt development, preferably in embedded or real-time systems.
  • Strong experience in developing automotive software applications (Infotainment, ADAS, IVI, instrument cluster, etc.).
  • Proficiency in OOP principles, design patterns, and software architecture.
  • Experience with cross-platform development, embedded Linux, and RTOS.
  • Good understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, or FlexRay (preferred).
  • Familiarity with build systems like CMake, QMake, and version control systems (Git).
  • Exposure to functional safety standards like ISO 26262 is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to lead a team and handle project delivery timelines.
